  • 2023 projected home price growth: 8.5%
  • 2023 projected home sales growth: 6.5%

More than affordable, Hartford also ranks #11 on the US News Best Places to Live for Quality of Life list.

2. El Paso, Texas

  • Median home list price Nov. 2022: $290,500
  • 2023 projected home price growth: 5.4%
  • 2023 projected home sales growth: 8.9%

With Texas ranked as the #1 top growth state on U-Haul’s Annual Growth Index, it’s no surprise that El Paso is high on the list.

3. Louisville, Kentucky
